How do I use Amazon NARF?

What is Amazon NARF?

Amazon NARF (North American Remote Fulfillment), now known as Remote Fulfillment with FBA, allows sellers to offer eligible products to customers in Canada and Mexico using inventory stored in the US Amazon fulfillment centers. Amazon ships those orders across the border and handles customer service and returns. Sellers can reach those markets without storing inventory in each country.

How does NARF work with Descartes Finale?

In the default configuration for Amazon FBA, Finale pulls in marketplace orders relative to the locale. Orders originating from Amazon Canada come into Finale through the Canada locale (same for Mexico). When a seller is utilizing NARF, the order pulls in through the originating locale, but ALSO through the US locale since that is where the inventory is being sourced. This results in duplicate orders.

Enabling NARF on a Finale account prevents duplicate orders from importing, keeping inventory and sales tracking accurate.

How to enable NARF

To enable NARF on your Finale Inventory account, please contact servicedesk@finaleinventory.com and request to have the setting enabled. A user does not currently have access to enable it without Finale assistance.
