Android Scanner with Built-in Scanner will not use the scanner and only allows the SCAN button on the app or use of the camera to scan

Check the DataWedge settings:

Go into datawedge > click the 3-dot button in top corner > settings > scroll to bottom and click "restore", click yes. Once complete hold the left scan key + volume up + power then release to reboot.. does that bring the scanner back?
