Many of the default reports that Finale Inventory offers will leverage data grouping, which provides a more structured, easy-to-read format for analyzing the information provided. An example of this grouping is shown below:
This grouping is very useful when generating PDF reports, but not so much when exporting data to Excel or as a CSV in order to filter, analyze or manipulate in a spreadsheet.
To easily generate these same reports without grouping and summary rows with totals, simply check the box shown below when running the report:
