Use this page to control which reports appear in the Shipping labels menu group in the Sales Orders view. In Descartes Finale, these menu options determine which shipping label and packing slip reports users can open while working with sales orders.
The menu is driven by settings, not hard-coded defaults. That means you can decide which report names users see, which report format opens from each menu item and how those options are labeled in the user interface.
Overview
The shipping label options shown from the Sales Order page come from the application settings for sales views. You can add a new report to the list, control the order of the list displayed and rename a report menu option.
This setup is helpful when different workflows (e.g. batch-create labels or one by one) or teams need different printed outputs. You can keep the menu aligned with the reports your team actually uses during shipping.
Configure Shipping Label Reports
To configure the reports offered in the Shipping labels menu group, open Application settings, select tab Screens and go down to section View sales. That section contains the settings controlling report-related options in the sales order list view.
Look for the table named Shipping labels report menu items. This table defines the list of reports available from the top section of the Shipping labels menu group.
Shipping Labels Report Menu Items
The Shipping labels report menu items table is a configurable list. Each row represents one menu option appearing under Shipping labels in the sales order list view.
Each entry defines the report to run, the format to use and the title shown in the menu. The title is what users see when they open the menu, so it should match the document they expect to print or preview.
The report itself can also be customized. If the default layout does not match your fulfillment process, you can adjust the report to change the fields, arrangement or printed output. This lets you keep the menu option in place while tailoring the report content to your operation.
How This Configuration Affects the Menu
The rows in Shipping labels report menu items directly control what appears in the top section of the Shipping labels menu group. In other words, the menu is a reflection of the reports defined in this table.
If you add a report to the table, a new option becomes available in the menu. If you change the title, the menu label changes. If you remove an entry, that option no longer appears. This makes the table the source of truth for the report choices users see while shipping orders.
The screenshot below should show the parallel between the configured report list and the items displayed in the top portion of the Shipping labels menu group. Use that comparison to confirm that the configured titles and formats match what users should see during shipping.
