If you have purchased or already have a CT50 Handheld scanner, you may find the following steps help to get the Finale Application to use the Scanner and not the camera.
Under Settings > Scanning > Internal Scanner > Default Profile > Data Processing Settings
Wedge Checked
Wedge Method Keyboard
Charset = What your barcode system is
Prefix = Blank
Suffix = /x0D
(This suffix sends an ENTER command after scanning)
Wedge as key = Blank
Symbology Prefix = None for us
If Wedge as Keys is not an option:
Go to https://hsmftp.honeywell.com/
Note: Please ensure the Honeywell Download manager tool is installed on your PC prior to trying to download files. This tool is required for downloading files. The Download Manager installation file can be downloaded by clicking here
Go to Software > Computer Devices > Handheld > Dolphin CT50 > Android 6
Go to CommonES and Download
Go to GMS > and Download the file starting in CT50-M-
Follow the steps in this video to place the files in the correct locations on the IPSM or SD Card (I used a 32gb MicroSD card), reboot in recovery mode, and install the files:
