Yes, Finale does do routine backups of your account to ensure the data is always safe.
Location of data and backups: Amazon AWS US-EAST
Type of Backups: Data is stored in Amazon RDS using multi-availability zone instances. Automatic backups are provisioned for point in time recovery going back seven days. Additionally, we take logical backups on a nightly basis that are stored to a different Amazon account with absolute minimum access from our main production account.
